Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OrigTeX, a service operated by Origlots (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and turn on two-factor authentication. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

Your content

You keep all rights to the documents you upload or write. You give us permission to store, process, compile and display them only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share them with.

Sharing

People you invite, or who open a share link you create, can access the project at the level you chose. You can remove access or turn links off at any time.

Paid plans

Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing; paid features remain until the end of the current period. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice. Taxes are added where required.

Acceptable use

Use of the service must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that break it.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, and we keep backups, but the service is provided “as is”. Keep your own copies of important work (download the source or use Git/Dropbox sync).

Ending your account

You can export your data and delete your account in Settings → Privacy. Deletion removes the projects you own.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We will notify you of material changes to these terms by email or in the product before they take effect.
